Big or small, every donation can make a difference
“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” – Sir Winston Churchill
Gifts to the Maple Ridge Community Foundation are tax deductible and offer you a great deal of flexibility in how you make your donation. For instance, you can:
- Make an outright gift of cash, securities or real property
- Set up continual giving with an auto debit plan
- Donate property for a desired purpose
- Provide for a bequest in your will
- Take out a gift of life insurance
Planned Giving
We hear the term “Planned Giving,” but what does it really mean? Quite simply, Planned Giving is setting up a plan to benefit your favourite charities. It organizes the gifts that you choose to make to insure your wishes are realized. Planned gifts are arranged in the present, but usually received in the future.
Your planned giving options should be carefully assessed in light of your personal situation and priorities. Once you’ve had an opportunity to discuss planned giving with your advisor, the Maple Ridge Community Foundation will be pleased to work with both you and your advisor to create and fund an endowment that will achieve your charitable goals and build a better future for Maple Ridge. Some planned gift options include, but are not limited to:
- Cash
- A major gift
- A bequest in your will
- A gift of life insurance
Whatever your giving or planning preference, you can rest assured your gifts will be carefully managed. The Board of Directors of the Maple Ridge Community Foundation are governed by a Constitution that conforms to the regulations required for all registered charitable organizations in British Columbia.
