Maple Ridge, B.C. (Sept. 21, 2024) – The Maple Ridge Community Foundation (MRCF) is excited to announce its third annual Dancing in the Ridge, an event inspired by the popular TV show Dancing with the Stars.
Join us on November 21, 2024, at The ACT Arts Centre for this unique event that pairs participants with professional dance instructors, who collaborate to put on a show you won’t want to miss. These participants not only master their routines but also raise funds to support the MRCF Community Chest Program.
The Community Chest offers immediate financial support to families and individuals in crisis. This one-time assistance helps them overcome setbacks that could otherwise lead to deeper struggles, preventing further descent into poverty. The Community Chest is a collaborative initiative between MRCF and Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Community Services, addressing critical needs in our community, including homelessness prevention, health needs, mental health crises, unemployment, and ensuring household safety and stability.

Form a team with friends, family, or colleagues and work alongside our partnered dance studios to create a show-stopping routine. No dance experience? No problem!
