Michele and I met, married, and have raised three children in Maple Ridge. We both came to Maple Ridge in 1976 and have lived here since. It has been a wonderful community to live in, being (initially) rural with vast recreation opportunities. We feel lucky to be a part of this community.

Feeling the need to contribute, we have found the Maple Ridge Community Foundation a great vehicle to give back. Since serving my term on the board, we have donated regularly, pledging an annual grant to Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows Community Services.

Our attraction to the Community Foundation is based on the fact that our endowment will live on in perpetuity. We feel blessed!
